EU: Updates regarding PIM released by EMA

Further updates regarding PIM have been released by the EMA (see our corresponding News Article). Among them, a new version v2.2 of the "PIM Concepts" documents mentioned in the original article from 26-Aug-2010 below. Therefore, the corresponding hypertext link has been removed from v2.1 of the outdated "PIM Concepts" document.

New updates regarding the Product Information Management (PIM) project has been released by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). The recent update includes:

• A new version V2.1 of the "PIM Concepts" document is now available for download. In accordance with the rebranding of the EMA, the guidance has been re-formatted and references to the name of the Agency and the Agency’s website have been updated. In addition, the “Related Information” section has been updated
• The Data Migration section has been updated including publication of the data analysis results.
• The PIM DES Validation Engine (PDVE) v2.1.1 is now available for download. The new version aligns the PDVE to the latest DES version 2.7.1 aligning to the revised QRD Templates v7.3.1 in Dutch and French language. Associated documents include (recent updates are linked):
