Danish Medicines Agency will switch to electronic company authorisations by June 2011

The Danish Medicines Agency (DKMA) has announced that starting from June 2011, all company authorisations will  be issued in electronic form as a signed PDF file. Company authorisations will then be sent by email to the contact person indicated on the corresponding application form. Alternative recipients can be declared in the accompanying cover letter. According to the DKMA "each individual company can distribute the issued authorisation electronically. Paper copies of the company authorisation can only be obtained in special circumstances".
